However, the fitness trainer recently shared his thoughts on Justin Timberlake following the various allegations Britney made about him in her memoir The Woman In Me, which released last fall.

Sam Said He Was Very Young When Justin And Britney Dated

Speaking to PEOPLE, Sam was asked what he thinks of the Timberlake and Spears drama. While the Iranian native admitted to not being very up-ot-date on the situation, or on celebrity gossip in general, he said he wants to be “supportive” of Britney.

“I try to not follow entertainment news. Especially news that was past my time,” Sam explained. “That's something I never really get involved in just because I think personal life and professional life are two different things.”

Sam went on to acknowledge he was very young when Britney and Justin began dating and their romance was splashed across the tabloids (they were together from 1999 to 2002). Sam would’ve been around 5-years old when they began dating.

"I was very young when they were dating, so I don't really follow pop culture like that," Sam said, adding "And entertainment news could be completely different from reality."
